The aim of the study course is to raise students’ level of English language, improve their knowledge in the field of English grammar and stylistics, which enables students to use academic writing style in their professional activities. Within the study course students learn profession-related terms, learn how to use these terms both in oral and written communication. Language skills are improved by reading and analysing various texts, by watching different video materials, by discussing issues topical in the field of information technology and by providing solutions to possible problem situations. Students enhance their writing, reading, speaking and listening skills, develop critical thinking and ability to justify their opinion in English in written and oral form.
